Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!
The Worcestershire Resource Exchange (WRE) is a project that focuses on recycling a variety of materials and saving all that it can from the dreaded landfill. Situated on The Shrub Hill Retail Estate the organisation was founded by The Duckworth Worcestershire Trust who are a charity that focus on sustaining our ever changing environment. With its four staff and many volunteers the project achieves an extraordinary amount.

Materials often include; Fabric, Paint, Wood, Plastic and even specially made “Make Your Own” Packs that are put together by the WRE Volunteers in store. As the exchange relies on donations their stock is ever changing, so just pop in to see what is on offer at the moment..”

Free collection service for Businesses
Donations play a huge part in the day to day running of this eco organisation. The WRE couldn’t function without the help of many local businesses, big and small, donating all of their unwanted but reusable materials. The WRE provide a free donation collection service to businesses, for reusable non hazardous waste. Unfortunately domestic waste donations cannot be collected but the appropriate materials are accepted and can be taken into the scrap store. These donations include but are not limited to; plastics, fabrics, trimmings and punch-outs.
